Did Michael Phelps really win that 7th Gold medal?

Michael Phelps is the biggest sensation of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. Never before has an athlete been so successful at the Olymic games. Some say he’s from another planet, other say that he’s from the future, but did he really win eight gold medals or was it a conspiracy?

The American swimming sensation won his 7th gold medal by winning the 100 meters butterfly, but not everyone is convinced that he really did. After looking at the official footage it is very understandable why the camp of Milorad Cavic put in a protest.

Cavic’s coaches immediately filed a protest which was summarily dismissed after the committee viewed the overhead cameras, not to mention when swimmers touch the wall there is a “touch pad” there which records the precise time at which they touched it. There is no conspiracy, but I can understand why Milorad Cavic’s team wants to think so. No one likes to lose, especially by such a tragically small margin.

I’ve been a competitionswimmer and we always were told that you’d better make that las stroke and bump your head against the wall because of too much speed, then wait those centimeters after te last stroke to touch the “timepad”.

its unfair to say he didnt win. the board of judges decision have to be respected, otherwise chaos will reign.
